Water Sunflowers


To make this image I took a different approach from the previous "water flower" series. Instead of using a plastic body I blew water out of a hose to make the flower head, the leaves and the stem. then I stitched them together in PS.
below are some of the shots that I used to make the sunflower

Equipment Setup:
Camera: Canon 40D
Lens: Canon 28-135
Flash: Lumopro LP160 @ 1/16 power
Flash trigger: Cactus v5

Treasure Chest

Treasure Chest
To make this photo I used this tutorial from Indy Mogul to make the rocks, only that instead of covering them with newspaper I used a layer of paper towel and white glue. I did this so that when I poured the casting plaster on the "rocks" it wouldn't filter through the holes that I left with the masking tape.
